I've spent years working in and around Shopify ecosystems — as a developer, an operator, and a consultant. Every product in this portfolio started as something I needed and couldn't find. CleanTraffic came from watching ad budgets bleed into bot sessions. AppAudit came from auditing a store's app stack and finding $340/mo in fees nobody could explain. The pattern became obvious: there are well-defined, expensive problems everywhere — and most tools are too broad to solve them cleanly.
Why We Build What We Build
- 01 We only build tools where we can calculate the ROI before we write the first line of code. If we can't explain the dollar value in 30 seconds, we don't ship it.
- 02 Every product starts with a user interview or a personal pain point. No building in a vacuum, no features that emerged from a Jira ticket with no customer attached.
- 03 We'd rather build five excellent focused tools than one sprawling platform. Scope creep is how tools stop being excellent at any one thing.
- 04 Time-to-value is 60 seconds or less. You should see a tangible result — a blocked bot, a flagged zombie app, a caught compliance violation — in your first session.
The Problem with Most SaaS Tools
Most tools are built by developers who find a technology interesting. They build the feature, then go looking for the problem it solves. The result: bloated apps that do 40 things and excel at zero.
We work backwards. We find a specific, expensive problem that merchants are paying to live with — analytics contaminated by bot traffic, app fees eating 15% of revenue, product pages that could convert 20% better but require a developer to update. Rule 1 — No Free Trial Theater
Our free tiers are real free tiers. 100 bot blocks, 5 app audits, 50 metafields — enough to see actual value before you reach for a card. Not crippled demos that force an upgrade after 30 minutes.
Rule 2 — You Own Your Data
Your store data, your bot data, your app stack data — it's yours. We don't sell it, aggregate it for third parties, or use it to train models without explicit consent.
Rule 3 — Cancel Anytime, Really
No gotcha retention flows. No "please talk to our cancellation specialist." One click to cancel from within the app. We'd rather earn your retention than trap you into it.
Rule 4 — We Respond to Support Fast
